Two piece me up all summer! I’m ready to show more skin and flaunt my body. This is a pattern from Petite Stitchery! It’s a part of their new swim collection which is the best collection of swim patterns that I have seen this year! Usually in a collection, there’s maybe a couple that grabs my interest. But for this collection, I wanted to do ALL OF THEM! Nonetheless, I made two out of four. The Dawson and Cove!

I used to be all about only one piece swimsuits. By taking my self-love journey seriously I have a greater love for two piece suits! I need daily access to a pool so I can wear these out constantly!

• Youth goes up to 34″ in chest and 36.5″ in hips
• Adult goes up to 59″ in chest and 62″ in hips
• Bandeau top with optional straps

Let’s talk FABRIC!

I had the opportunity to work with Fabric and Flow for this swim release! Fabric & Flow has partnered up with Petite Stitchery to promote their fabrics and the release at the same time. I initially picked out these fabrics for the Dawson so I had 1 yard of black, 1 yard of pink, and 1/2 yard of purple. After I made the Dawson I saw I had some extra fabric and happily requested to join the Cove test. I thought it was so odd that I was so excited to sew up a two piece. The sewing was a breeze, so I would recommend it for beginner sewists, or those sewists that are wanting a quick make. Here’s what I loved about their swim fabrics:

Can we talk about how incredible this color is against my skin though?! Maybe I need more hot pink makes in my closet!

Grab your swim fabric and elastic and make yourself a Cove! We only have one body, it’s best we love it as it is in the present moment. If you are someone who has been wanting to wear the two pieces but limited yourself due to your body, your body is beautiful and deserves to be kissed by the sun! If you are someone who prefers more modesty, the Dawson might be your tempo. Either way, don’t miss out on beach or pool days!
